Blockchain Product Enablement

2022

Unstoppable Domains (global, fully remote unicorn blockchain startup)

During a period of explosive 6x team growth at Unstoppable Domains, the company's core product knowledge base in Notion — the go-to resource for employees trying to understand what the company built and sold — had become critically outdated. The original document had been written by the Head of Product, but with new features shipping constantly and a rapidly expanding global team, the gap between what was documented and what was actually true had grown too wide to ignore. For new hires especially, the absence of a reliable product overview made onboarding into a blockchain-based product particularly daunting.

What I did

Drawing on my institutional knowledge as one of the company's earliest employees, I proactively reached out to the Head of Product and took ownership of a full overhaul of the "Intro to Our Product" page. I rewrote the foundational product explanation from scratch in plain, accessible language, designed to be just as useful for someone brand new to crypto as for a seasoned team member. I then restructured the entire document to reflect the company's current and evolving product strategy: primary products and features, secondary features with nuanced callouts for which teams they mattered most to, upcoming features in the roadmap, and deprioritized features with context for why. Throughout, I embedded links to blog articles, help center resources, and video walkthroughs from subject matter experts across the company. I closed the document with a section directing readers to the right person, Slack channel, or feedback channel depending on their question or idea, giving every employee a clear next step.

Impact

The result was a single, trusted source of truth about Unstoppable Domains' product — accurate, navigable, and accessible to a fully remote, globally distributed team spanning multiple time zones and levels of crypto familiarity. By capturing not just the current state but also the product history and future roadmap, the document gave every employee (new or tenured, technical or not) the context they needed to do their job confidently and represent the product credibly. It transformed a stale artifact into a living knowledge hub that supported onboarding, cross-functional alignment, and day-to-day enablement at scale.
